Chris & Laura
Happily Ever After
In The "Media"?
Chris's coworkers at 6abc put together this short video for he and Laura. Needless to say, it put a huge smile on their face! Thank you to everyone involved for your efforts, we greatly appreciate it and love the video!!!
Our Story
It's been a long journey since a little message was sent across a dating app. What were the chances? Nearly 3 years later, we've both found the love of our lives.
We're first and foremost grateful to God for bringing our paths together.

About that journey...Chris is from Houston, Texas, Laura from Buffalo, New York. As corny and cliché as it may sound, distance could not stop our love.
We've had our trials, our difficulties, challenges, and hurdles to leap over to make this work, but we remember where we came from, and we're grateful.
If God could get us this close, surely He'll take us the rest of the way.

We're thrilled and honored that you've visited this page and are celebrating the journey we've had together, and the one yet to come.

Tidbits
Some Q&A with the bride & groom
How did you first meet?
That's a long story, but a good one. The short version is...we met on Christian Mingle. Laura is from Buffalo, New York, and I'm from Houston, Texas. This presented quite the challenge, as you can imagine. However, after both of us had met enough people we knew weren't right of us, we decided to explore the unexplored realm of online dating. We're both very glad we did!
Who made the first move? How?
Chris. He sent me a :)Â through the Christian Mingle app.
Who's going to take out the trash?
Chris: That depends on how well I can fake that I'm asleep.
Laura: Most likely Chris. He is the man of the house, after all!
What was your most memorable date?
Chris: The most memorable date for me was our 1st official date night out. I flew in to Buffalo to meet Laura for the first time. We already had a fancy date night planned at a local fine dining establishment. We both got dressed up, Laura looked stunning. I'll never forget it!
Laura: Definitely our first official date :) I bought a fancy new dress and was so excited to spend time with Chris. He took me to a really nice restaurant downtown and we had a corner window seat. Everything was perfect and Chris made me feel like the most beautiful woman in the world. Afterwards we went to a local ice cream shop for dessert and sat outside and ate it.
What's your favorite activity together?
We love to watch funny shows together, Seinfeld, Frasier, and very rarely when we can agree on something, a movie! We also love taking walks together and just talking.
Where are you going for your honeymoon?
We will be going to the beautiful Florida coast (exact location TBD). We both need some sun, sand, and relaxation.
What's the best meal you have eaten together?
Chris: I would say the best meal was at Buffalo Chophouse for our 1 year anniversary date.
Laura: Hmm that's a tough one, we’ve eaten a lot of delicious meals together. I think the best meal for me would also be the Buffalo Chophouse. I’m not a steak eater, but the roasted chicken and garlic mashed potatoes were to die for!
What's the most memorable trip you have taken together?
Chris: For me, it's when Laura took the time to come visit me while I was still living in Houston. I got to show her my little world, where I grew up, where I lived, and the Texas way of life! There's nothing like it.

Laura: For me, visiting Chris in Texas was definitely up there, but the first time Isabel and I took the trip to visit him in PA was my most memorable. We did so many fun things together and it was just such a fun trip for the three of us.
We’re on the same page about
What matters most to us. God, family, priorities.
A life goal of ours
To raise a beautiful family with children who are kind, good-hearted, and make this world a better place. We love people and always to make a difference where we can.
The most spontaneous thing we’ve done
Get Married!

No No. Real answer Coming Soon.
The dorkiest thing about us is
Chris: I like Star Trek. I also like Stargate, Star Wars, Sci-fi. I'm not really ashamed, either. :)
Laura: Lol oh goodness, i’m not sure about this one. I guess I never imagined I'd like Star Trek, but Chris changed my mind about that and I've made it through every episode of Deep Space 9, and Next Generation as well as several Star Trek movies. I definitely enjoyed all of them :)

The Wedding Party

Maddie Martin
Matron of Honor
Sister of the Bride
Maddie is Laura's one and only sister and she's so grateful to God that she has her to share this life with. So naturally, she couldn’t picture this day without her love and support by being her matron of honor.

Rene Ramirez
Best Man
Rene and Chris go back years. Ok, just a few years. They worked together at Telemundo Houston where they became friends instantly due to their common passions of music, ministry, and broadcast. Both work for Disney now in the same industry in which they met.

Sara Galda
Bridesmaid
Sara and Laura have been friends since the first grade--28 years now! She has been with Laura through all of life's ups and downs. Laura couldn’t imagine celebrating this day without having Sara by her side.

Noe Valdez
Groomsman
A good friend, a good man, and never a dull moment. Brother-in-law to the Best Man, Noe has been friends with Chris for years now since being introduced by Rene. Noe is a gifted musician, a legend in the oil industry, and an even better story teller!

Isabel DiCioccio
Flower Girl
Daughter of the Bride
Apple of her eye, key to her heart, an angel sent from heaven...Isabel is all of these things to Laura. Her beautiful daughter will be celebrating this special day by her Mom's side and we couldn't be happier.

Jase Martin
Ring Bearer
Son of the Matron of Honor and cousin to the Flower girl, Jase is full of joy and life and spreads it to everyone he meets. We are honored to have Jase as our Ring Bearer.
